I attended the Realign and Thrive Women's Movement retreat in April 2023. Balance Holidays' attention to detail is flawless and results in the most satisfying and enjoyable retreat. I went on the Realign and Thrive at the stunning Oku Hotel Ibiza, the hotel has a huge pool but is also near to the sea for frequent therapeutic dips. It is a lively hotel with Ibiza tunes by the pool but it's quiet at night so no issues with sleep. It has brilliant creative chefs with the most delicious, colourful, well balanced food. It was a real pleasure having Monique's company the whole time, allowing plenty of time for learning in a relaxed environment as well as during the sessions. All the sessions were really well put together, challenging but also tailored to each of our body's needs. Dr Katie Armstrong's two talks were really educational and helpful on women's hormones. An interesting bunch of women all travelling solo, the small group made it intimate and everyone quickly got on. Excellent info and comms from the Balance team before and during the retreat. This was my first Balance holiday but will certainly look at others, they seem to have the skill of bringing together a great team in the right environment.

I have very high standards and do not enjoy travelling alone but this retreat was so exceptional. I did the unheard of step of choosing to spend a week with strangers. These strangers are now some of my dearest friends. The group size was intimate enough for each of us to develop and grow. We had a ratio of 1 to 3 of experts throughout the week. We together created a unique bond almost like a family. This is down to the professionalism and care behind the scenes. The menu each day was full of taste and nutrition. I never longed for any food temptations outside of the retreat. The accommodation was top luxury and outstanding views and location. This retreat can only be out done by another Balance holiday retreat, which I am booking now.

I couldn't have asked for a better wellness retreat than what I experienced at Balance Holidays' Re-wilding programme. For me, it was the perfect opportunity to end a frenetic summer through mindfulness, primal physicality, and breath work. I felt challenged enough by activities between Broughton Hall Estate and its 3,000 acres of breathtaking landscape, but equally supported and nourished through conversation, connections I formed with my fellow "balance holidayers" and healthy meals which were unbelievable delicious, satisfying and energising. I cannot recommend this and all of the Balance Holidays retreats enough, not only because I know the effort put into ensuring they run impeccably, but because as a customer the entire experience surpassed all of my expectations. Expect to be surprised, thrilled, captivated by nature's beauty, and to leave having discovered a limitlessness to your mind and body's potential.

This was my first experience with Balance Holidays and I could not recommend them more highly. The diverse and well-balanced program was of an incredibly high quality and very meticulously executed by the very knowledgeable staff. We stayed at a uniquely beautiful private property that would be impossible to find independently. The expert was very good and I found the insights obtained over the week we were there very useful then and now for my daily life. The healthy vegetarian food was very diverse and extremely tasty. Lastly, I thoroughly enjoyed connecting with the fellow participants who were all very kind and interesting. I found this week incredibly restful and empowering and will surely go on a Balance Holidays retreat again.

Wow what can I say. Truly the best trip I have ever been on. It sounds cliche but living in london where everything is so fast paced, it’s hard to find the time for yourself and focus on what you truly want in life. Livia carefully selected the most beautiful hotel for this retreat and incredible teachers. My flight was delayed for 5 hours so I was feeling abit anxious and tired when I arrived, but as soon as we got there it lifted immediately. The location was so peaceful and beautiful. Most of the workshops were done in this glasshouse amongst nature. Belinda who taught us all about meditation, shaking, human design and more was exceptional. She was so patient and eager to share all of her knowledge with the group. She had such a calming presence about her. I’ve never eaten better in my life, Morgan who was the plant based chef put so much love and energy into all the meals. She would explain all the ingredients in such detail, it made meal time SO exciting. So many of the vegetables were picked from the hotel garden which was amazing. Morgan’s charisma was infectious and she put a massive smile on everyone’s face every day. I noticed how sharp my brain felt being on the retreat, I didn’t feel foggy. I felt energised, happy and confident. I think this was down to the nutritious food from Morgan and learning to be more present from Belinda. It was such a lovely experience to meet people from all over the world too. Everyone bonded in such a special way. Less than a week after the retreat I met up with a lovely couple. I went on the retreat with my mum, which was so nice and bonding. I really recommend doing it with a family member! I think I need to go on one of the balance holidays retreats at least once a quarter ??. Such a worthwhile investment. I feel genuinely lucky to have experienced this trip and have told all my friends & family to do one too. Thankyou Livia and Balance holidays for curating such a valuable experience. I know a lot goes on behind the scenes to make it feel so seamless and perfect and I’m so grateful for the time taken from the team to do this. It really is a unique skill.

For me, I had the most enjoyable, inspiring and liberating week on the Joyful Awakening at Balearic Island Retreat. Not only because Sah D'Simone was the leading expert but the programme really came together through the combination of classic meditation, ecstatic dance, beautiful natural surroundings, the accommodation, customer service and curated menus. It was simply fantastic! I have for sure deepened my own understanding of Buddhism, somatic healing and the importance of understanding my own emotions and patterns. The group size was small and intimate, which is the most ideal for a retreat of this kind as it involves exploring deeply personal feelings and emotions.

For my 40th birthday, last July, I went to their Ibiza retreat hosted by Balance Holidays and my favorite spiritual mentor, Sah d'Simone. It was incredible. They were kind, genuine, organized, and on top of things from beginning to end. When I was confused about booking my flight and traveling with Covid, they were more than helpful and supportive. I felt like I had a friend on the other side of the world helping me get there. The location, vibe, people, food, everything was beautiful and I felt like a princess. I want to host a retreat with them one day too and definitely attend more of these they put on!! Thank you all so much!!

The curation of the retreat was perfect. Livia and her team have done a superb job of creating a mix of activities that enables one to reconnect, physically and mentally. From sound baths, wild swimming, breath exercises, barefoot running, ice baths and walks in nature, all hosted by our fabulous group of experts and Tony Riddle leading and inspiring throughout. Waking up in the morning before breakfast to go wild swimming was an amazing experience. The Estate was amazing, beautiful landscape, great food, and living in this impressive Hall was incredibly special and unique. The staff were welcoming and having an historical tour of the Hall and the surrounding buildings was v special The group size was just right, and developing a bond and friendships with special people in a safe, relaxed, open and fun environment was really one of the retreat highlights.More than anything the retreat allowed me to reconnect with myself and nature with great people in beautiful surroundings. I would definitely attend another Balance Holiday’s retreat!

I loved it! And it couldn’t have come at a better time or in a better location for me. The curation of the entire experience was impeccable and demonstrated the knowledge, expertise and professionalism of Balance Holidays. The five day itinerary was sensitive and sensible which delivered both a purposeful and relaxing experience. The choice of the expert for this retreat, Tony Riddle and breathtakingly beautiful Broughton Hall Estate not only provided all four of the natural elements to facilitate rewilding but also our warm, cosy yet luxurious accommodation; where we enjoyed most of the delicious and nutritious meals and snacks.

I have already participated in two BH Retreats. The first one was at a curated working retreat where I went alone because I wanted to disconnect from home/city and work in a location surrounded by nature for a couple of weeks during the pandemic. The place/people/organisation was excellent and one experience I will certainly repeat (this was in France, and I certainly suggest it, though I will look to try out in another of the great locations offered by BH) As soon as the situation with the pandemic improved and mixed group retreats re-started I went for it. While I believe it is ideal to have “Me Time”, I also believe that if you can do both i.e. “Me Time” within a group of people, it is a win-win situation. I have been to several retreats in the past and I have to say that Balance Holidays is up there with the best for several reasons. Let’s start with Customer Service (Founder and all Staff). I had the opportunity to speak directly with Livia, the Founder of BH (which already is a major plus), and from the very beginning I understood that she cared more about finding the right retreat for me instead of just presenting me with the next available one. From that very first call I have been followed step by step till the very end. A true “360 degrees approach” as well as “going the extra mile” till the smallest details Another major reason why I think BH is up there with the best, is because their retreats are thematic ones, instead of the more common “one size fits all” approach. Not only are they thematic/ad hoc (with sustainability at the core), but the amount of research behind it really stands out. From the choice of property (the beautiful UK property I went to is one that is making a major reforestation project, which was amazing to see), to the choice of the experts at the retreat who were outstanding. Livia was absolutely right in her analysis and matched perfectly the retreat and who I am and what I really needed. The other important point to make is that the group was very diverse (all ages – 20s to 60s; 50% women/men), with different reasons to come along and a common objective. I really enjoyed this diversity, it made the experience even more interesting and enjoyable. I will be looking forward to applying all learned (mentally and physically) at home, and looking forward to the next retreat! What a great experience ! So much so that our group are meeting up again this weekend. Livia and her team went far and beyond to satisfy our needs on this retreat. After a couple of days people felt it was a safe place to be themselves and not worry about what others thought which led to seeing true authentic people. I look forward to the next one.

The days in Yorkshire at Broughhton Hall last month were exceptional. The accommodation was spectacular. Every meal was to the same high standard. The service from the housekeeping team was always helpful. Tony is a star. Artur and Kate too. Well done for pulling it all together. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a rewilding retreat planned by Balance Holidays. It was a most fabulous way to spend 5 days. The venue was dreamy and stunning, straight from a novel; an old mansion house set in acres of rolling hills. Rooms were beautiful, with all you needed. Rewilding?! I hear you ask…It was all about getting back to nature and rediscovering our inner child …and that we all most certainly did!! The programme was meticulously planned, activities were well thought and food was scrumptious. All meals were fresh and mouth watering, whilst being gluten and dairy free. The retreat leader, Tony Riddle, was fascinating; it was great to be led by such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable man. He definitely changed our views on all things sitting!! Well done to BH on this selection, brilliantly done. It was a fun filled few days, where we met people from a variety of backgrounds. As one of our retreat friends said, “I haven’t laughed this much in years,” and there really was so much laughter, whilst learning so many “new” fascinating concepts. The group size was perfect, 15 of us. So perfect that we are still in touch and some have even been swimming together in London!! Livia and her team went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met and that we were getting the best experience. The highlight for me was being able to sit in an ice bath for 2 mins and the wild swimming. It’s amazing what we can achieve with some guidance and the right environment. This is something BH seems to do effortlessly. For a Londoner, it truly was a breath of fresh air and something we could all do with every once in a while. We came back feeling renewed and nourished. I would highly recommend booking a retreat with Livia and her team…. Your body and soul will thank you for it!!

I decided to attend a Balance Holidays retreat as I was looking for a way to reconnect with myself in a healthy manner with like-minded people in a beautiful location. This was my first time attending a retreat. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. My favourite features were the customer service, the location, dancing, and the off-premise ceremony close to the ocean at sunset as well the exposure to an on-island farm, nature and the animals. What I enjoyed the most was the location and the experience. I enjoyed very much the curation of the programme made by Balance Holidays. The hosting service received across the retreat by Balance Holidays was exceptional - 10 All Around! When I ever needed anything, the Balance Holiday team was either a text message or a phone call away. Priceless. The quality of the menus was perfect and during the retreat and I also lost 3 lbs as we were eating clean. I mostly eat farm to table but the consistency on the retreat was nice. I also enjoyed the accommodation chosen very much. I will be visiting Oku again. I enjoyed spending time with other guests, getting to know one another and engaging in conversations and group activities together. That is what I was there for. To learn to love myself again, and to trust people. I feel I have definitely improved on dormant skills and loving myself more. I took home with me several practices that I will apply into life. Consistent meditation, mindfulness, movement, monitor how I engage with myself, my thoughts, and my words. After this retreat, I feel more aware. More present to situations. More confident. I am eager to make some moves in my life to bring in more creativity. I would attend another retreat with Balance Holidays and recommend it to friends and family. I am a follower of Sah D'Simone and I saw how well his energy & purpose meshed with Balance Holidays that I knew this retreat in Ibiza would be a beautiful experience. I rate 10 the quality of customer service received throughout the booking stage. The amount of detail that went in to all aspects of this experience demonstrated how much love went into planning this. I most enjoyed how much I connected with myself, like minded others & Sah himself. The things I learned about myself and felt was unlike anything else and the memories with the others I will always cherish. I learned so much from each person and felt inspired in so many ways. With a group of such amazing souls, you have this space that is created where you know & feel that you can let go of your hesitations of being authentically you. One of the outstanding features of this retreat that I would like to highlight is patience and accommodation. Being such a deep experience, timing does not always go to plan, and Balance Holidays leaders & the hotel staff were so patient, kind, and understanding. I really enjoyed the accommodation and surrounding environment as well, the curation of the program by Balance Holidays and the quality of the Balance Holidays hosting service received across the retreat was exceptional. I feel I have learned new skills and practices such as daily timed meditation, dancing, flowing, completely loving myself & others and the pure beautiful value of all of that. I chose to do a retreat with the expert Sah D'Simone so I indirectly also choose to do the retreat with Balance Holidays, and I’m so glad of this, was amazing. The outstanding feature of this retreat was that Balance Holidays was always there to support and take care of us and our needs. Since the beginning, I loved the WhatsApp and human customer care (not just going trough a robot experience) I enjoyed the most all the things that we learned, the classes etc and I feel I have learned new skills and practices that I have included in my routine already. I enjoyed curation of the programme made by Balance Holidays although I would love if it was lasting 2 more days maybe. I rate 10 the quality of the Balance Holidays hosting service received across the retreat. Regarding the quality of the menus, I asked for vegan meals and I got vegan meals so I was happy, and they were adjusting all my needs giving me what I was asking. The hotel chosen for the retreat was very nice and I enjoyed spending time with other guests, getting to know one another and engaging in conversations and group activities together. For me was an important part of the retreat. I still feel overwhelmed, and processing all the things. Motivated and with new questions. I thank you for your job, and all the sharing moments that we had, was amazing and very important for me. A very sincere thank you to everyone who made the Joyful Awakening at Balearic Island Retreat happen! It was one of the most amazing experiences where the ease of camaraderie not only between me and other guests of the retreat, but with the Balance Holidays team too, was truly remarkable. Being in a shared space with Sah, who I have been curious to get more of his insight and knowledge, to focus on deep work in a comfortable and inviting environment without judgement was another highlight. Also, the high quality of customer service was realised from the very beginning but even more so as the retreat unfolded. With the team ensuring every meal was catered to my individual needs as a person with allergens. Highly recommend and a big thank you once again!

My first experience of a Balance Holidays retreat was for the 'Re-energise, Restore at Eco-Sustainable Historical Retreat' which took place at Il Borro in Tuscany. It was first class from start to finish. Highlights included daily yoga sessions, horse riding through the vineyards, a traditional Italian cooking lesson (the gnocchi was incredible), a painting lesson with resident artist, truffle hunting in woods nearby, e-bike tour of the neighbouring villages, and lots of downtime to enjoy the wonderful pool, spa and 5* facilities. The food was all super fresh and locally sourced. We had a fantastic small group of retreaters and the customer service was excellent, from start to finish. I have not been on a retreat since pre pandemic but have my eyes on a couple for 2022! After the last few years we have had, experiences like this are the antidote to what we need!
